Waterways define our neighborhood and its history, but few of us have the opportunity to connect with them, to appreciate how they can be used for recreation, their place in our local ecosystem, and the challenges they face. Learn more about Newtown Creek and the East River by joining a short public paddle, learn about the wildlife in the waters at our Creek Animal drop in, or help us remove plastics from the park riprap (18+) while learning about the impact of microplastics. The public paddle is walk-up only and first come first serve, we recommend coming early to secure your spot.
