City of Water Day is a day for family fun and children's activities as well! The following activities are confirmed and more are added every day. Please check back continuously for the most up-to-date listing of events! 

Big League Bouncies Inc: Who doesn’t love a bouncy house?

Friends of Liberty State Park -  Come learn about the Friends of Liberty State Park and their active gardening volunteer program. Friends of LSP hats and key chains will be sold! And get your free temporary tattoo!

Hackensack River Keeper- Enjoy the view of the entire harbor with a spotting scope. Both children and adults can view the harbor with large visual displays and as part of literature.

Liberty Historic Railway: Children can take a step back in time through free vintage coloring books about the historic Liberty railroad.

New Jersey Paleontological Society: Kids can be paleontologists for the day as they investigate real fossils from pre-historic creatures.

Passaic River Institute: Children will take on the role of scientists as they participate in interactive activities about ecology, water and sedimentation.  T-shirts, water bottles and pens will be provided to all visitors.

US Coast Guard Auxiliary: There will be activities for all ages, from learning about the American Waterway Watch and boating safety to pollution information, marine radios, and federal boating regulations. Children will also be given the opportunity to collect stickers and color! Find out more about the USCG Academy and how you can become a member.
